The tyre pressure monitor in the front wheel was broken yesterday and replaced today. I assume it needs to be paired with the bike as it still isn't displaying the pressure.

Taking it back to the dealer isn't an option as we're starting a 3-day rally early tomorrow. Is it something I can do or will it have to wait until we get back?

Thanks.

When mine was replaced it needed to be paired with the bike. Unfortunately the dealer didn't have the Kawasaki software CD, so had to do it another time.

However, I have read that sometimes they can be paired but in a sleep state. Allegedly inflating the tyre to 50 PSI awakens the sensor. Worth trying I guess?

Thanks. I'll leave it until I get back.

It was our local Yamaha dealer who fitted it (long story) and it sounds like I need to take it to the Kawasaki dealer. I need to go in there next week anyway as the FI light keeps coming on.
