Just ordered one for a few trips I've got coming up, should arrive in a few days.

Cant find anything too descriptive in the marketing blurb or any clear pictures of the mounting kit that its supplied with.

Just concerned that its not going to be a good fit for the MK1 GTR's odd shaped handlebars.

Anyone else got one? any issues?

Cheers

Craig.

Personal preference to a point.
Kawasaki mount is between handlebar mounts, but some people think that is too low.
Others prefer on the clutch lever mounting clamp with longer bolts, but I find that too near and out of my sight line.
However I normally listen to the voice commands with only a quick glimpse to confirm what I can hear and see the road layout to be.

Very much appreciate the response.

Cheers for the pictures.... looks like I might need to track down the kwak plate then.

Will check when it arrives, but I don't think I have the clearance on the left hand bar, as the heated grips control is there.

Used this to mount my Zumo 660, very central, had one on most of my bikes, toured far and wide with no issue's.

The bar mount method is. I found not great as it was out of my eye-line...

So I opted for a Handy Stick which is available from Prjektd....

This system provided much more flexibilty of positioning and the instruments weren't obscured

Hope this helps

Did you have to bind it with tape before the RAM mount stayed solid, or is that just decoration?

"decoration "    :mfr_lol:   nah, it helps to keep the handy stick from becoming marked
