Wiring KEIS heated vest

Hi guys
Just bought a keis Heated vest, was just wondering which way to route it or connect to electrics if anybody can help?

Does it not just connect direct to the battery. Then the lead just plug into the vest , ,,,

Yes I understand that, but was wondering if anybody had wired it elsewhere, and tips for best places etc, our bikes are quite enclosed with the fairing etc, and also whether it was worth using the 12v aux connection
