Changed pads to EBC HH cleaned whole caliper up to make sure not binding pushed pistons out cleaned with brake cleaner.
Now back from ride today rear disc too hot to touch . put on center stand wheel spins freely im thinking Disc warped any ideas.
I even took it to my local bike shop as was worried they said its not binding either.??

Is your foot resting on the brake pedal, either by your foot position, or the pedal needing adjustment ?
Is the pedal free to return to the neutral/off position.

The only way the disc will get hot is if its binding.  I suspect that the pistons are a bit sticky.  I'd pull off the caliper and thoroughlt clean the pistons, pump them out a bit and make sure you can push them back just with thumb pressure.  Any more than that and they could do with fully stripping, splitting and refurbishing

I know the front ones are not the same size , but are these hot too? ... just thinking if you've been giving the front brakes a work out then maybe the rear will get hot anyway due to the linked brakes

Had the Caliper off now about 4 times I even pushed piston all the way out cleaned with brake cleaner bled rear as mine is not linked 2008 model .been reading on the COG forum that could be pedal not returning fully just worried dont want brake to sieze and cause a accident . Im pretty good mechanical wise but this has stumped me .

Check fluid level is not overfilled .
As new pads fitted the level goes towards the max mark and if too much fluid it cannot expand/return  to allow the pistons retract fully

Iwingit

Ok will check tomoz but sure wasnt overfilled .

Too much fluid in the rear master cylinder can do it.  Gravel trapped around the pivoting point of the pedal can do it (two recalls for this one).  Faulty ABS (assuming you have ABS) can do it.  Did this just happen or have you done any work to the rear wheel area lately?  And what made you think to look at the rear caliper?
