I thought my CB750 was good and my GSF1200S Bandit was amazing but, the longer I ride a GTR and the more miles we cover, the more I am getting to know and appreciate what a great bike the GTR is. Yes it has a few issues but all bikes and riders have something. We did over 1,000 miles in N Ireland at the NW200 last month and 1,100 + miles in Scotland last week and I just think the bike gets better with age. P.S. what mileage are people getting from their rear tyre? I have PR3 on rear and PR4 on front and both have done over 8,000 miles so far. The rear is now in need of replacement due to it going square (too any motorway miles I guess).

I'm with you, fully agree!
After two years thought it should be time for a change, recently tested BMW s1000xr and Versys 1000, both good but the big K still does what I ask with smile inducing quality!
As for tyres, yep, PR4s lasted just shy of 8000 miles, still had plenty of tread, just started handling horrible so trying Angel GTs now. Roll on Spain in a few weeks, can't wait!
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.
