If this has been asked before then apologies in advance.
I have just bought an 08 Bike, and want to fit a Tank Bag.
Obviously the Glovebox in front of the Filler cap precludes that
My question therefore is, is it possible to simply (??) remove the Glovebox and fit the cover from the later model ?
Any help appreciated, Thanks in advance

yep. my mate has just done it for your reason.99.9% sure all you need is the cover/rubber trim and bolts. There is a removable bracket underneath which holds relays but ime sure the holes lined up.

I hope thats possible, Cradley Heath Kawasaki have the new cover but they are no 100% it will fit, so need some reassurance before buying at £65

I have a 2009 model with tank mounted glove box and have used a magnetic tank bag for 6 years without any problems.

That probably means the bracket holding the relays is different.
I have a spare bracket, let me dig it out and photograph it.
