Hi everyone,

Im new to Kawasaki's and above 600cc motorcycles in general.

Previously I have been on many road trips across states on a Royal Enfield.

Since having a family and kids put me away for driving for almost a decade, Im now planning to buy my first what I call sports bike.

Since im 33 now, Im looking for comfort and not really in to stunts or racing.

Please see these details and vote.

Im very close to sealing a deal for the Kawasaki GTR 1400.

- Driven 13,000 KM
- 2x Saddlebags - Key locked - Detachable
- Motorized Windshield adjustment
- 1,400 CC - 4 Cylinders - 140 BHP - Multi Function Display
- Keyless start engine (2x Kipass Keys)
- Shaft Final Drive (No chain and no maintenance)
- Aftermarket Exhaust (Remus) - Original is also avaliable
- Center Stand
- Car Charger Socket
- Mobile Phone Stand
- New Tires

Please note, the seller is the 2nd owner, and this island in the middle east is hot and humid.

Sujahat,  I love my 09,  it's done 60k, I've had it since 4k and it's only ever needed a cam shaft sensor and some heated grips.

Looks ok to me.
But my gut feeling about any purchase is not so much the bike itself but who's owned it.
If you're buying from the current owner you'll get a feeling about him and how he's ridden it and the sort of responsible chap he is or isn't.
Welcome to the forum. If you buy it then you've come to the right place for all the info you need.

If you are going to ride it in a hot and humid climate then I would go with a 2010+ bike.  Better heat management unless the current owner has already done something about that.
Resistance is futile  2020 Indian Roadmaster  Waiting on the current Doctor to regenerate...

Also with the pre 10 model make sure the re-calls have been done.

Hoy,i hope you tried the bike some days...?
Its not the bike that i should recommend for someone who has never driven a big bike...
Cause this one is something special... Very much power!   Be very carefull with it !

Hi Guys,

Thank you everyone, I put the payment down yesterday for the bike and will be getting all the paperwork done this week.

I quick question, can the battery be changed for the tyre pressure. I will search the forums now.
