Apparently it's Christmas!

Bah Humbug and all that nonsense, WTF is going on? Popped down to the local garden centre this afternoon and they've only started putting out their Christmas decorations...

Quite late, actually.  I saw some Christmas stuff out about a month ago here.

Ah yes those nostalgic fights in the kebab shops after the clubs kick out, the brutal kickings and glassings when someone gets in the taxi you fancied, puking your guts up down the nearest alleyway......ah yes I'm looking forward so much to Christmas that I've taken it off this year and will be well out of it, thanks very much. Instead I'll be chilling out with family in North Yorkshire in a beautiful country cottage in front of a roaring log fire.

When I'm dictator, any commercial signs of Christmas before 1st December - decorations, songs played on repeat loop, mince pies with a 'best before' date of 12th Dec etc - would be punishable by firing squad.

Indeed... Here over the channel our country biggest garden center already started xmas campaign in august , even before new schoolyear at 1 sept was started...

Meanwhile a second summer with more than 30°C is started here.  No snow yet
