BMW must be doing something right ... I went to visit an injured colleague a couple of weeks ago up in Stevenage .. A decent run from the south coast so thought I'd "test ride" a K and book one out  :yes: :yes: ... wrong !! .. didn't have any demonstrators and couldn't get hold of any AND none for sale in their "used" bit that I could borrow. The chap said they move quickly .. I bet they do ! :eek:

1976 fizzy what a beauty :yes: bought the exact same model in 1976 for the grand sum of £299.00 if I remember correctly.. and wrote it off the same week :sad:  trying to burn off my mate on his suzuki AP50 :hammer: got a replacement from insurance had it for a year then p/x it for the RD250 :smiley: a fizzy like that in that condition would fetch about £5,000 now.. why didn't I keep mine :cry:

P.S stop taking the piss out of b.m.w :hammer: now I've got one.. won't have a single bad word said about them :wink: :grin: I'm on your side KEITH :laugh:
