Where did you get the pole?

It's an extendable pole for a mop!  does the trick though

Sold  My GTR in March for  a versy

Just  traded in the versy for a new GTR greatest bike ever for cycle racing.

Hey Chris. I'm around here and there. I don't go to bike night any more as I play my Bass guitar on a Tuesday evening. Hope you are good.

Phil how did you do that?

Does it replace the existing bulb?

Phill_York

It does. It's not an easy job as it needs to take power from the indicator feed and then an additional feed for when you need everything on and then a diode to make sure the indicators can still work indipendantly.  You also need a control switch as you need to put the strobes to solid for use as indicators and be legal (for the MOT at least) and then flash patterns for when they are used as strobes.  I have to create a parallel wiring loom to control them so it's a big and complex job.

However, I am selling my GTR with it all installed (and headlamp flasher, rear red, siren) as well as cruise control so it might just be easier to buy mine

The making of the brackets.

I ordered a 12" piece of 3"x3" aluminium angle for this project.

Marked up and holes drilled for the lights.

Because I live in an apartment I don't have a woman cave, I have had to use the rear of the bike as a work bench, once I had taken off the topbox mounting plate. It worked a treat.

Once cut off and smoothed down they are now ready for the holes to be drilled for mounting under the mirrors.

Before I fit them I will spray them with black Plastidip to finish them off....

Piaa switch already in place, ready for wiring lights in..

More pics to follow

You'll beat the bicycles easily with that GTR
