Testing Testing

I had a run out yesterday to try out the revised positioning of the Sat Nav and also the effectiveness of the newly fitted Aerowings

Initially the Sat Nag seemed to be to close, but after a while I got used to it and its now ok, in fact being closer means that it doesn't suffer screen reflection like before, so that's a bonus

The Aerowings are great and make a noticeable difference by offering more protection to my hands, so that's another plus 

The weather was great so I headed West to Reeth (one of Wolfs fav places) B6270 through the villages of Crackpot (yeah really)Muker, Thwaite, Keld and over the top of Birkdale which was stunning with 360 views and down to Kirkby Stephen where I resisted the tasty smell of Fish & Chips and ended up at Brough Castle for a hearty bowl of soup and crusty bread roll, before hopping on the A66 heading East towards Barnard Castle, Richmond and finally home ....loverly jubberly

Its a road/route that I'm familiar with as I live nearby so it was nose GPS

OC that sounds like a half decent ride and you are correct I do like that neck of the woods and often head up that way as the scenery is excellent.
