Along with the noise would be the smell! 
Recalling the days when I was able to hold onto a trials bike, queuing for a section with the aroma of Silkolene Comp 2 or Bell-Ray premix smoke clogging the nostrils...........imagine if that lot were all strokers!
Ahhhhh...the smell of nostalgia!
