Quite recently I went to Lord Stones Cafe in Carlton In Cleveland on the bike. Well yesterday I went back but this time in the car and took the Mrs and the dogs. Whether you want to visit this place on two wheels or with the intention of walking and enjoying the impressive scenery as many do and certainly did yesterday make sure you fetch a camera along with you. The light is constantly changing and you can get some terrific shots.

Here's a few from my trip there on Sunday. And before anyone asks, on my BMW's life, I did not Photoshop any of these images!!

The Beast..... :whistling:

lovely pics Steve, the second one made me chuckle as your dog looks knackered at the top of that hill.....you must have been on your knees  :mfr_lol:

Ever thought about your retirement and then taking up photography ?

Roger, been there & done that with the photography game before I started my current job.

That little old dog is 10 now you know, that's older than Geoff probably in doggy years. Springers, Cockers, one second they look tired & then they're off again at full steam. I could never hope to keep up with them!!  :sweatdrop:

Oh yessss, we know about Cockers, as we have one here, he's now 8 months old and bursting with energy..

Our Lab will be 13 in November which in dog years probably makes her older than even Geoff and my ages together  :mfr_lol:

I didn't know you had a Cocker, I'm sure your's is far more sensible than mine though. I always go for rescue dogs these days although it's usually an unknown entity as to what you may end up with temperament wise. My Springers have always been great, even Mac despite one of the Son's of his previous owner being particularly cruel to him, he'd had 3 or 4 owners before I got him when he was 3. I've had him 7 years now. I know for a fact that the Son used to kick and punch Mac. He trusts me now but I don't think he did for about the first two years.  Quite sad really that people can be such total bastards towards dogs. Makes my blood boil.  I can't mention on a public forum what I would like to do to them in return but it wouldn't end well for them.

Love 'Muzzle Dog'  - By far the best of the set.  A great portrait
