storage compartment

i went to get my disc lock out of the storage compartment on the lefthand side of the fairing,as i don't open it that often i pushed the button down & it took some force,it did open but the button stayed down,is that the correct way of opening it,or should i have pushed it to the right,bit of a silly question i know,i hope i ain't broken it.

Hi Tapps, did you have the ignition on as you did it ? I think its just a push down operation with the ignition on.

yes i did,i had to force it down,i may take it back to the dealer to look at,it's still under extended warranty.

Careful!!!!!!! That box is £200. Some light machine oil will free the switch.
