Any of our northern members fancy going to The Bridge Sunday 8th Feb? I'll be there about 11:30 if anyone has permission to play out.

It'd be a bit far from your home in any case but thanks for answering.

Lovely day here, just waiting for Asif and then we'll be off. He ALWAYS needs to get fuel as soon as we set off.... :mfr_lol: but we should still be at The Bridge about 11:30 approx.

Just cos we set off in glorious Bradfordian sunshine and then headed into freezing fog for treacherous, icy, flooded, mile after mile of frost covered roads I still couldn't understand why Geoff & Roger weren't there.

I wished that I could have been there Steve.  I had some lovely ice bound fell roads that I could have introduced you to.             Alas my good lady affectionately know  in our house as "The clerk of works", had two tree stumps in the back garden that needed digging out and removing, so unfortunately I spent 4 hours digging smashing and tugging the stumps, whilst narrowly avoiding an heart attack. I have just returned to my chair a shattered and broken man. I think that the said Clerk of works sometimes forgets that I'm  67 ya know . ( having said that, whilst I nearly died doing the tree stumps, she was creocoting the garden fence).  Any way I hope that you enjoyed the day, and look forward to meeting up for a wizz out sometime soon.
What would you rather be   or a wasp?

Well Steve we are having a new kitchen installed, all the units etc., were delivered yesterday, and are stored in the Rev Shed totally blocking in my bike, unfortunately there was no alternative storage options ....so I'm grounded for a week ...which is   :shit:

Geoff, glad you're still with us, I find a small explosive charge buried deep into the stump will normally dislodge them.  :whistling:

Here's a few pics from today just to let you all know how hard we are up North and that we're not afraid to go out when it's a tad nippy.

The official line up. Asif's on the left, (with the dodgy number plate)  :whistling: then mine and a couple of other machines, a Triumph I think it was and a GS.  Always good to see when people make the effort to get out in all weathers.

A fine combo, Rukka gloves and a hot choccy.

A random bird shot.

Another line up,

Our leader, Asif having a chat with some other chaps. In fact come to think of it they could be Geoff & Roger stand in's.  :sweatdrop:

It was so cold it was imperative to just keep drinking hot choccy's as these guy's did.

Just before we left as the weather started to improve there were a few more bikers turning up which was nice to see. All in all the weather wasn't that bad and the temperature did rise very slightly on the way home.  (By at least 2 whole degrees).
