My friend has a Porsche Boxster.. She loves it but if it's left standing for a few weeks the battery goes flat. Her partner who is also a biker has fitted an external socket under the front bumper so they can connect it to a optimate without having to get to the battery..

That's a neat trick and something that ive just done, my car is parked up all week and if I have a flat id struggle to gain access, ive used an optimate style plug behind the gril and have connected the male adaptor to my 12 amp battery charger

My truck battery goes flat if I leave it connected.  I have one of those cutoff thingys on the battery.  Works great.

I've been thinking long and hard about the ideal car for Asif and I saw this in Leeds today and lets be honest, its ideal for him. 













The owner came back while I was there and just drove away without a care in the world as if he was just driving a regular car! Clearly there must be some substances involved somewhere which aren't available in Boots.
