Hello new friends,

how do you all maneuver your GTR's in confined spaces? with the Bandit, i could balance the whole bike up on the sidestand with both wheels off the floor and simply spin it 180º. I attempted the same feat this morning after reversing out the garage and the sidestand looked like it was going to bend in half way before any wheels came up. So i did a 3273 point turn instead.

wonder if there are bike spinners on the market? either that or i'll have to install a turntable in the patio.

Hello new friend

I bend the side stand just getting on the bike  just ask the Wolf  :mfr_lol:

I have the same problem and am unsure of the best / cost effective turntable solution.

It will be interesting to see what the team come up with

Have you discovered the progress zone between 6.5 - 9k rpm yet  :mfr_lol:

Look forward to meeting up some day  :scooter:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAZY-SUSAN-BEARING-12-or-300mm-Swivel-Turntable-Bearing-Heavy-Duty-NEW-/320923935520 (if that link stops working at anypoint search for heavy duty lazy susan)

Longtom

Wow, that is brilliant-I want one! I've been paddling my bike backward and it always feels a bit 'iffy' especially as I only have a little bit of paved area and have to do the rest on uneven grass. Thanks for the heads-up.

Charlie747

MMMMMmmmmmmm

The lazy Susan looks like a Chinese take away serving aid.............325kgs of fried rice  :mfr_lol:

The up north bloke looks good ..................I've not seen that one and it looks a good idea as long as the top box is not fitted

Were did you find it and how much ?

OK just seen Longtom's post so group discount for 3 ?  :mfr_lol:

The vide has changed  to a ST1100 !

I saw a chap in his garage not the shed man....................how do I get the original back ?

exBanditOwner

That turntable was made from 2 bits of 12mm ply greased up with a 3mm metal plate on. didn't like it and now i've lost the youtube link to it. bear with....

Charlie747

Thanks Neil

Now I know that I'm preferring the shed job.......................does that lazy susan really take 450kgs ?

luckily for me, as a lecturer in engineering, i just nipped to the metal store and now have a nice 350mm x 350mm x 5mm piece of aluminium to make mine with.

i'll post photos. apparently you all like photos.

total cost to me. £10.19
