I have installed a Puig screen is 12cm higher than the original. It is lighter colored and fits well with the black color of the motorcycle. It provides good protection for the wind.

However, I think that the screen is sharp major - and at high speed gives much turmoil when the front wheel can be very loose. We are talking about speeds above 200km / h.

Does anyone have experience with MRA screen - on which sits a kind of spoiler?

Cheers,
Hans

I have one of those MRA thingumies......i like it, however i think both NB and myself agree that it is maybe too short (by 5cm) and you do suffer from some buffeting, but as you know so much depends on the height of the rider, i'm 6ft 2" (about 185cm i think), i have no idea what the effect might be if i was shorter or taller  ;D
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Yup, agree with fatharry that the MRA could do with being slightly taller. I'm 6ft and could feel the buffeting.

Well... did a second test-rund tonight with stock-screen! Not that good!  :'(

Anyway - I'm about 188cm - and the big Puig (ie. +12cm) is quite good - and even wider! Only negative is vibrations in the steering at high speed - ie. over 200km / h.

I managed to bag a Calsci screen from eBay last week. Will put on for Friday hopefully and give my impressions

yes totally agree about the mra screen its the best looking screen on the market in my opinion but iam 5ft 11 and its just about 5 inches too short at full height because if i dip my head slightly wind buffeting goes. maybe we should tell mra are opinion on making them slightly taller after all its us there trying to sell them too lol arty.  ::)
some day all bm owners will have a gtr.
