Steering stem seal provides lighter steering at low speeds.

Stiffer rear suspension settings for enhanced control and carrying ability.

Sculpted seat for improved comfort (optional Touring Seat available).

Electrically adjustable windshield with three-position vent.

Exhaust heat shield improves rider comfort when stationary.

Revised ABS settings to reduce the linked braking effect.

Silver bezels on instrumentation.

No cruise control
Revising the ABS settings to reduce the linked braking effect proves the defect in the earlier model. Kawasaki should have made a recall.

I've never had any ABS issues on my 08.   What would happen to the ABS when you rode over bumps?  I'm not sure, based on the changes we know about that I would term it a gen 3.   Maybe a gen 2+?

Oh Charlie, there's no such thing as a pain free seat unless you count yer bum going numb as pain free...  I've got a Russell and whilst it's much better than stock, it still hurts a bit.  Though, it could be that I've outgrown the sitting area.

I wonder how much more one has to pay for one with a green stripe over a 2014 model.

Jim, you need to get the Russell redone. Mine is painfree for as long as I can ride the bike. Limiting factor for me is shoulder burn and boredom.

Yeah, I know.  I've got to get them to move the wings out a bit and level it up.  Also move the pocket back some.
