Mr Blek

Hullo!

About to trade my beloved ZZR 1400 for a GTR 1400. As much as I love the ZZR its not practical for long commutes, especially with winter around the corner. Thought about getting a Pan, test road one. Conclusion: why the **** would I want to ride a big scooter lol. Went straight to local dealter and put a wad down for a new GTR.

Catch all you fellas soon

Hello there Mr Blek. Hope you are not disappointed going from the ZZR to the GTR, but if its going to be more practical for you then you have to do what you have to do.  ;D
Looked at a Pan myself earlier this year, but it wasnt what I was looking for, just didnt have the attraction that that the GTR offers.

Welcome anyway, how long before you get the GTR?

Hi Mr Blek and welcome to the forums

I actually thought about going the other way. I loved the ZZR for the day I had it. What an awesome machine. I remember taking it into work and on the same day one of my co-workers brought his brand spanking new Audi A5. Needless to say his car didn't get any attention!
He spent 40k on a car whilst I could spend £10k and buy the fastest production bike in the world. Go figure.

All these people buying a new 1400. I feel left out

Hi there.

A long time ago - in fact a very long time ago - I had a Suzuki Hyabusa. Going from that to a touring bike was a shock. Its probably the reason I'm still alive today.

What colour is your '10?

Mr Blek

I've gone for the blue but to be honest I would love to have a second hand bike instead to which I would absolutely butcher the paintwork. A custom paint job would definitely be on the cards.

The ZZR is the best bike I ever rode. If i were single, I would get one on the side of the GTR !!

If it was practical I would have a ZZR tomorrow. I seriously considered having one alongside my Gtr but as I'm after a track bike as well the misses would flip at 3 bikes
