Should have smacked the silly cunt in the face. Then run over him.

Kudos to the rider for not seeing red mist.

:agree:

Can our  :police: do anything with the vt ?

That's very alarming, especially considering I don't live too far as the crow flies from that junction. Debs where did you find the video footage posted originally? Do you know the rider?

Virginiajim, the 'problem' is that you just never know if he's going to pull something out of his pocket, we do have a few car jackings occasionally and there's usually a knife involved somewhere.

Asif, shame on you!

Charlie, I wouldn't hold your breath, but I certainly hope the rider has reported that to the Police.

Unless you are in that position it's difficult to say how you would deal with it but you can bet your bottom dollar if you'd have grabbed him, his mates would have come over to assist him, it would be a lose, lose situation.

Niel (sirtou) posted it on Facebook. Thought you & the  :police: would be interested  The video was uploaded to youtube today.

I've found the original poster on You Tube. The link above is one that's been copied from the 'victim'. I'd like to think that the Old Bill would be interested, I know if I'm passing through that way I'll be keeping my eyes open for that lad especially if I'm on the bike. I take the dogs to a park just down the road from there each morning (in the car, not on the bike).  :mfr_lol:

:mfr_lol: Like I said, the rider did the right thing by not seeing red mist and riding on.

Years ago I had a bunch of idiots try to push me off my V-Strom as I was riding it. Unfortunately I did see red mist and would have happily  :gun_bandana: :death: the scrotes.

Now that I have children I'd probably do what this rider did.

Just goes to show how cheeky these guys are ! Good bit of video though !!  :police: wouldn't even get a vehicle interference out of it ... He would just say that he didn't know much about bikes and thought that if he fiddled with the keys he could hear the nice exhaust ... That's all .... he didn't mean any harm by it ... So you would be wasting your time at the end of the day and I'm sure he would be encouraged to make a complaint against the nasty policeman for doing his job init.

Dumb xxx. (Not you:-) )

1. Didn`t he see the camera....?
2. More and more vehicles have no key anymore...
3. That` why fyi in brazil and ex-cccp people don`t stop at red lights anymore esp at nights...  but there they normally shoot if you do not want to...

It`s a crazy world... we can only hope it will never happens with us...

I had the same thoughts...   Also, assuming the engine is running and I had somewhere to go, I would move forward at a very brisk pace to remove myself from the situation.   If I couldn't, I'd switch it off and remove myself and my fob (which I carry in my pocket and not on the bike) at a brisk pace.  Brisk pace would be somewhat slower than my 9 year old grandson can run.  I tried to beat him in a race and even with some cheating the little sucker beat me handily.
