I hope to be there. Missed last year but have made the previous 4 years.

Beware the nutters on scooters. Some of those ****holes need shooting.
Saw one the 1st year I went who lost control and binned it trying to do a wheelie.
His scooter slid in to a line of bikes and knocked 3 over.
The "kid" ran off and the owners of the bikes took their frustration :taz: out on the scooter.
Luckily damage was limited to mirrors and indicators,... except for the scooter.

Recently there has been an overt Police presence which has kept the nutters to a minimum.

Hey OC, there is usually a nice selection of triples there.
I saw the 666 4-cyl there 3 years back and Mr Milyard makes the occasional appearance on one of his weird beasties.
Quite a trip to get down here from the Lakes though.

That's correct George...quite a few lads that  I know from the Triples club are regular attenders, the 4cyl 666cc (Triple) that you saw may have been a Red one which belongs to a close friend of mine who lives in London, he built the bike himself and its stunning

Work permitting/holiday allowance, I'll be there with the girlfriend on her bandit, and two mates, one with a ZZR1200 and the other has a bandit too.

That's the one. Immaculately turned out and sounded even better than the triples when he fired it up.

The bike is a masterpiece in engineering, its taken him ages to get it running just right ~ and has made from scratch the ignition system...amazing

It started life as an H1D 500 cc, but with the extra jug its now 666cc and is affectionately know ad "Damian"

I've now had my shift pattern changed and have now found myself working on the 27th, but I will try and book it off.

I am coming along with a friend who has a Honda, hopefully nobody will object to her coming in as it's not a Kawasaki.

Subject to the weather of course and were not under water.

Alan
Ducati owner now but I used to have a Black one, the fastest version.
Previous, Sprint ST (2), VFR 800, Fireblade's (4) SP1, VTR1000, GPZ900, CB250, BSA Bantam D14/4, Suzuki TS100, SX200.

Alan, over many visits to the "Ace" I have found that if you ride in on a bike that is not the subject of the day, they simply park you over the road. In many ways this can be better, there is lots of space, probably less chance of damage (the on - site parking does get very crowded at times) and when you want to leave you can just ride out without difficulties.
