2K, I believe Geoff is in some pain at the present time.

May be age related, or repetitive strain injury, but apparently his tongue is so deeply buried in his cheek it has cramped and he cannot remove it....
Four is fun.  Six is sex.

I Dream of a World where Chickens can Cross the Road without having their Motives Questioned

Don't you believe it I was with him today and take it from me there's nowt wrong with Geoff

And 2K what were you rattling on about sticking up for your mate Steve, who will no doubt be here real soon with his own brand of witticism

I remain sat.......on the sidelines......watching and chuckling  :mfr_lol:

Geoff.. some of us work full time :whistling: this means time is precious and to venture a decent distance to "NEW" places :whistling: using the motorways is a necessary evil and a means to a end  I'm not a fan of motorways  example.. on the day we left Scotland we came home 75% "none motorway" but then time was getting on so jump on the motorway at Lancaster and we were home in 45mins  geoff a quick question.. do you still rub 2 pieces of wood together like a "troglodyte" to start a fire  or do you do it the modern way and use a lighter  motorways are simple a way of getting somewhere fast to enjoy more time at the place when you get there  also when you do get there, motorways keep the bulk of the main traffic of the roads you wish to enjoy, also if you never had motorways how far do you think you would get if caravans, lorries, e.t.c. never used motorways! I bet your a heartbeat fan  and in those days the only way to get to Scotland was the A6 stuck behind that "wagon and drag" with the old "Cummings engine" that did 10 m.p.h with a tail wind  over "shap" in theses are modern times with 100& more traffic  so in which case... motorways are a result of our own making  time to move with the times :mfr_lol:
No no no no no my minature scouse friend, you dont understand!!!!!!!!! I actually love motorways  I love the fact that all the bloody big smoke belching wagons are on them, and all the muppets towing caravans are on them, droves of rep mobiles are on them, woman putting their makeup on use them all the time, plus all manner of clowns who think it's ok to sit in the middle lane all day long, not to mention the lunatics that think that it is quite reasonable to have a chat on the mobile whilst overtaking a wagon at 70 mph in the pouring rain, in the rush hour. I remember all too well when all the above were cluttering the roads up that I want to use . Motorways are for folk in a rush, I dont want to get home "in 45 minutes" when I get there will do for me. I am never in a rush to get anywhere, although I have been known to get a shift on now and again :whistling:. So I think it's magic that the modern motorist/ motorcyclist thinks fit to follow the big blue signs into the far distance, and leave me in my ancient little world swooping hither and thither on A/B roads :whistling: .
What would you rather be   or a wasp?

I find myself in the fortunate position of no grandchild minding duty on 2nd Sept  so intend to have a ride down to the Lower Lode Inn. Who is able to attend & what time do you think you will be arriving.

Looking forward to anyone who will be there.

Trotters, yes, regrettably it's been cancelled due to the main guest of honour, Rusty having to work at short notice.

Trotters

That's a pity but in that case it looks as though I will be eating lunch on my own.
