I've found that if it's very windy it can have more of an effect with the top box on, but nothing where I've felt unsafe. when I first bought the gtr I thought the front end did feel very light with the screen at its highest position, like I had fitted a barn door to the front and it  almost acting like a wing. I now tend to have the screen in position 2 most of the time, but at its fullest when going a little slower in the rain and to keep the water off. position 1 is used when having a play. I find by having the screen lower it also takes a lot of pressure off the wrists, although the pay off is wind noise, but that's not a problem, it is a bike after all  :mfr_lol:

Later model GTRs have a slightly taller/larger screen fitted as standard, which is in fact the same dimensions as the Kawasaki accessory screen.

Any bike will be affected by cross and side winds, bikes with larger fairings tend to be affected more so., the addition of larger top boxes will add to that effect, but I must add that I've used large GIVI topboxes on all 3 of my GTRs and never really had any major imbalance situations, even at high speed....I managed an indicated 120mph travelling solo across Europe in 2008 on my first GTR loaded with panniers, Top box and tank bag.
