dam right you do  sensors are in the wheel and cost £280 supplied and fitted  I know through experience because I had one damaged by a tyre fitted friend at work who underestimated when I told him they are very fragile and extreme care must be taken when removing the tyre :hammer:
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

a few of us have had problems with over zealous tyre changers, id ask to be around when they do it, the damage occours when they use the bead breaker where the tyre valve is and the TPS unit which is directly under the tyre valve gets crushed. also they can damage them when they use the tyre leavers in this area , the tps is about 80mm long , and my tyre guy always comments that its twice the size of others, if it gets damaged its gonna sting ....   A LOT !

My tyre fitter is awesome... He always takes great care when changing the tyre..

In my experience I have found the guys who work for themselves and are mobile will always do a better job.. Mine are always done by the same guy and would not let anyone else touch them (unless I really had to)

:stupid:  I 'm with you there Debs, I've been going to the same guy since the early 1990s, he's very good and very careful, but he wont fit tyres unless he supplies them as a general rule
