If you thought the in helmet speakers were rubbish I'd suggest you didn't have them positioned correctly....possibly.
You can get in ear speakers for the Autocom system, have you considered those. Speak to Autocom direct or a company like Chainspeed.

Debs is spot on ... as usual .... I personally don't use them but I understand that "Ultimateears" are the best around .... like Rukka ... you pays your money ....

Had mine about 3 years, maybe 4, they are excellent.

You will need an autocom lead with 3.5 jack plug or the speakerless wiring harness for helmet if for use with autocom!

If using with an mp3 or SatNav plug straight in!

They are effing good though!

TBH a decent pair of 'bud' type ear phones will do the job, just make sure they fit fairly flush with your ear or you will knock them out when putting lid on or they will dig into your ears within about 10 seconds!

Motrax used to do some that were excellent.

Try Maplin or even the supermarkets

Tim you said that you had Autocom speakers some years ago... the latest Autocom/Starcom speakers may well be a better quality these days, and as L.W says correct fitting is all important.

I use a Starcom comms set up and the speakers are small, comfortable and very effective

On this theme, ish?!?  Has anyone used the Sena SMH-10 intercom? Looking to get something so I can listen to my lovely wife talk(incessantly) and they get some of the best write ups for the bluetooth systems. I've got the Autocom system just now, which is good, other than i get fed up with the wires.

Cheers

Another vote for the Ultimate Ears from me. I have been using mine every day for 4 years, superb kit.

@Tim, yes they are expensive compared to normal in-ear music earphones, but these are custom moulded earplugs that happen to have speakers in. They protect your hearing from all the road/wind noise far better than the foam earplugs, plus they allow you to play your music/nav etc.

Not saying you do this Tim, but it never ceases to amaze me how many people jeapordise their hearing by not wearing earplugs.
