Hi

Spotted these and bought enough to replace all the fuses on the trike.

http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/level5/module.jsp?moduleId=cpc/511615.xml

They do not have the lump on the back as shown in the top picture, they are exactly the same size as the original fuses, but with the integrated LED that lights when the fuse is blown, could be handy one dark night on the side of the road in the rain when something important stops working.

I may be sad enough to blow one and post a pic showing the LED working...
Even sadder, you could fit a clear lens of some sort in the lid of the fuse holders so you didn't even have to open the lid to see the LED......

Going to get on with what I should be doing now, at work  :mfr_lol:

You know what, every now and then we come across a very good idea ( like sliced bread for example ) but I have to say that this is one of the best ideas I have come across for a very long time !!

Just a pity we cannot get those down here in the RSA ( yet anyway ). Being in the  :asshole: end of the world, we might get them here in about 5 years time but certainly something I would fit to my bike for sure !!

Hi Deon

CPC may well be happy for you to order them and get the delivered out there?

If not I can order enough to do your bike and post them to you, no idea what postage would cost, they don't weigh a lot.
If you are interested I will suss out the costs and you can pay me by PayPal?
Not looking to make anything out of you.

Hi Richard,

Thanks so much for the offer but I do not do the PayPal thing. Besides not being too savvy with technology, it is very risky for us down here to do any financial transactions via the internet. Hacking of bank accounts and details is rife down here at the moment so I would rather not take that risk.

Thanks for your generous offer once again.
