Joking apart it was still a lovely bird and one of God's creatures and it's a terrible shame that it met it's demise in my garden while it was minding it's own business eating some mealworms. I need to try and trace it's owner from the ring on it's leg and deliver the sad news.

Rusty

And risk a civil action for "Dangerous Dog" offences ? ..... " I put it to you officer that ......"  :mfr_lol: Good Luck Steve !

It was on private property.......no offences.  :whistling:

I trust it was duly barbecued?   :whistling:

Oh Ros, you wouldn't barbeque it would you, that's just sick!!!

Pan fry the breasts, and a bit of stuffing, wrap in puff pastry! Dove Wellington...

A much more regal end for the little fella!

no photo as the dog holding on relentlessly to the bird?

I can just imagine the scene ....... cute white bird sat there , frozen to the spot in fear while big freighening dog comes bounding up teeth snaring , then just before the dirty deed happens,  in background on radio you here Orvil " I wish i could fly , right up to the sky .... but i cant "      :mfr_lol:
