yep! that would of been my guess either way.. those chip's knobs got a free z900 lucky bastards always wanted a z900 couldn't afford one in the seventies and can't warrant the £15,00 to £20,00 they cost now for a concours condition model

The CHiPS bikes were KZ900-P in seasons 1 & 2 and KZ1000-P from then on.
In CHiPS 99 they rode BMW R1100RT-Ps
Until recently Kawasaki still sold the KZ1000-P to US Police.
Now they have the ZG1400-P.
