When I wer a lad we were so poor  that we had a padlock on our dustbin , and we also had toilet paper hanging out to dry , and we couldn't afford butter or marj, oh no, we had a pig in our garden and we used to rub our bread up and down it's back so we wouldn't have to eat it dry . So you reckon you had it rough hey! well my old fellow told me he used to get out of bed half an hour before he went to bed to walk 25 miles in his bear feet "each way" to work just to stand in line to be told there's no work today  his best mate used to live in a shed with a half a felt roof and his family used to take turns sitting in the dry part  which my old fellow reckoned was pure luxury  mainly due to the fact he lived in a hole in the ground with his mum, dad, 9 brothers, 11 sisters, 3 dogs, 2 cats then 3 squatters moved in :hammer: just as he thought things couldn't get any  :shit: tier  they were evicted from the hole

Is that all, well my grandma lived in an air raid shelter, and she and my grandad brought up three brothers, one of which was my dad (I think) and she fed them on home reared chickens, plus a few frogs, and they drank rain water from a downpipe. And anyhow I reckon that my dad wer tougher than your dad, and thats because he was brought up in a grim environment, unlike some folk I could mention who are spoiled rotten and are nothing but nancy boys
