My bike is in for the recall work tomorrow and while I'm at the dealers I have to raise the following issues which I want to be corrected under warranty:

- Rear pre-load adjuster has seized (like others here)
- Paint has flaked off the exhaust where the end cap finishes. A patch about the size of 2 50p pieces
- Above the gear changer on the metallic painted dome (not sure what it's called. Paint bubbling under the surface.

Has any one else had to ask for the paintwork to be dealt with under warranty?

Hi, I've had the preload adjuster exchanged under warranty and the complete exhaust because of this.....

the exhaust warranty includes the entire system not just the damaged bit so it's works out quite good really. If your dealer gives you any grief over it or sounds not too optimisitic, just contact Kawasaki direct. My dealer was just great, no quibble, job sorted.
