Is taking place this weekend ay Nord Vue, Armathwaite, Cumbria.

Biking and its future depends on young 'uns coming into our biking fraternity, and Trials is a great place to gain experience, bike control and respect can be learned from mastering control of a machine in difficult circumstances.

Yesterday I was involved in assisting with machine inspection (Scrutineering) at the event and it was good to see so many youngsters in and around the event, some even participating in the Junior riders event on electric machines.

Any way here's a couple of pictures to whet your appetite....its a good/fun day out for the whole family

The practice area

There are also a couple of female competitors which is good to see

One of the actual world competetive sections, its steep and very very difficult

They weren't like that in my day

Electric bikes for the Juniors, just like the 'real thing'  and superbly engineered

No engine  :mfr_lol:

And for the really small child, how about these

Ah yes, that's the program. I used to really enjoy that. Pity there's nothing like that on TV nowadays. There might be on SKY etc but not all of us can afford SKY!
