How to pretend you ride a BMW!

Easy really.

Get selected to work as a safety marshal on the Olympic Road Cycling Events.

BMW are the "vehicle partner" (supplying loads of cars and bike to the organisers) so any marshals using a non BMW bike at the events MAY be asked to cover up any non BMW manufacturers names!

LOCOG will supply gaffer tape to help do this.  Im thinking of making some declal to say "I'm not really a BMW!


Lets hope they discover that I dont drink coke, dont bank with Lloyds and don't have a samsung phone otherwise they may not let me in to London!


Seriously though. it was good to get confirmation this week of selelction for the team, and although the role is that of static flag waver it really is a once in a life time chance to be involved.

All I need now is to get my bike back  (still not fixed after my little whoopsie on 22 April). Dammed insurance Company. but thats another tale that I'll not bore you with today.
