Slovenia Trip.... Canceled!! FFS!!

Yup..... me and Smarty made the decision this morning to sack the Slovenia trip ...... we had a look at the Grossglockner webcam and were greated by the site of temp of -1 deg and snow....FFS!!!!!  .....

I'm as hardy as the next bloke when it comes to riding through the rain, but the forcast fer Northen Europe for the next 3 weeks is just that...rain... and i'm not taking the risk of Smarty having to ride a bike she is barely used to (cheers Chiswick honda  ) though 1,300 miles of rain and possibly snow...

sooooooo we are going to spain instead.... i suppose on the bright side tis good that we are able (us bikers) to be this flexible, if we were going on a package tour we'd be stuck ..

So the slovenia trip has been put on hold and we'll have another go next year..... in August!!!!!

Sounds good to me Mogs, you'll have a great time wherever you go. Are you crossing Europe to get to Spain, or are you getting a ferry there?

we had some hotels booked, which fortunatly we can cancel...i think we have to pay a bit on one of them, and of coures Vignettes which we won't be needing.... I'll prolly sell them though, on ebay... Swtizerland, Austria and Slovenia...

The Tunnel crossing we'll do anyway, i fookin hate ferrys!! too many squeeling kids  .....
so the plan will be to hoon down to my sisters for a night at Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie, ... and then scoot through France and stay 4 days in Saragossa Spain, then head across to the cost for the weekend  ..... and then spend a couple of days out near Millau... then hoon back up to calais..

Smarty says she doesn't care where we go as long as she's on her Bike  .... we were looking forward to the Alps and doing some of the passes, but tbh looking at last weeks weather and seeing the rain clouds stretch all the way across our route in to Slovenia, I kinda had a feeling this was coming.

Go through Andorra, it will give you a similar experience to the Alps, fantastic roads,35c, what more could you want

we did them last year.... cracking trip.... 4 star Hotel in Andorra for 50 euros.... and 30 deg plus temps.. 

Tis bloody pain, though as I have to change all the routes, sumit I usually like to linger over but now has to be done in a bit of a rush an Smarty is busy canceling and booking new Hotels!.....oh and re packing her stuff, thank fook fer the bank holidays..
