Gongrat's to Lonewolf on acquisition of and "epic" ride on new bike.

Now:   " the big difference is how the zzr feels like your arms are being torn from their sockets when opened fully up  "

As you may (or more probably) may not know, I am at the end of a 13 year relationship with my Bayerische Babe K12RS (1999) and looking to go 14GTR.

From the quote above, Lonewolf, I wonder how a ZZR would take raised bars and thereby be more rideable for the likes of me.
Just because many do it does not make it right. Just because many think it does not make it true.

By the bye, Lonewolf, did you check out the one in Wigan?   Excuse me if this has already been covered; I am still semi delirious with the man flue.

A good word, delirious(ly) that is, to describe your level of happiness with new purchase.

I bet your busy polishing and personalising now

Chance would be a fine thing, I'm still recovering from jet lag from yesterday.

Regrettably NONE of the local dealers who had stock of 2010 GTR's onwards could be arsed to return calls to me.

OK, a quick update on Saturday's mammoth ride to collect the bike. Six hundred and twenty miles takes it toll on you that's for sure. There's probably only Kevin and his Mrs who are used to doing that sort of mileage.

I set off at 04:30 hrs to go collect it and finally got home at 19:30 hrs approx. So far I'm very impressed with it.

I stopped off at some army museum near Oxford on the way home and took a couple of quick pics.

I haven't had a chance to 'play' with it today as I've been too busy but tomorrow morning hopefully I'll get a chance to have a good look at it and try and fathom out what all the gizmo's do on it.

ANgry sky, even more so when 'shopped'

Only thing to spoil first shot is some prat in a hi-viz jacket kneeling down.....................

Very nice indeed Mr Wolf, Im sure you will be very happy together  :001_icon16:. Did you get them to wire the sat nav in for you, or did you plug it into the fag socket?

Lonewolf

They mounted it for me but I'll wire it in myself in a week or two when I get some spare time.

Looks very nice LW. Bargain.

I think I've almost persuaded the missus to allow me to have one.
