In a moment of boredom whilst it was hammering down earlier, and in my best efforts to keep the accessory budget down, the latest farkel arrives................. :hammer:
If anyone fancies having a go please PM me is any ?'s   :undecided:
Ingredients -Bits of steel or aluminium, hacksaw, file or angle grinder, 6mm Countersunk bolts, nuts & washers, drill and 6mm bit & either a countersink or 10mm bit do do the same.
Plan is a "draw round" of made parts, so if you can size it up to fit on A4 that's the size it is.
Ford platinum grey paint optional.......didn't have any black to hand!
Heath Robinson it may be, but cheap and secure it definitely is!   :punk:
No gaurantee and patent definitely omitted!
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

What is the stand made of ?.
Could you just weld the disc to the foot of the stand if you are using steel and the paint/spray

Or just carry one of these in the left fairing pocket ;)

It should weld no probs, trouble is I ain't got a welder in the tool chest! Wouldn't have the use to justify.
DIY build for my GS and Superten, just like the convenience, as for stand discs agree they're good, but just the fact as it's always there ready for soft tarmac etc. swings it for me

Wasn't sure if it was easy to remove and get someone you may know in the trade to weld it .
It wouldn't take long . I don't have a welder but there's enough people I know with access at work.
Besides I use a bump stop in the shed to hold/support the bike so it would be easier to remove.
