Priceless, Nice one Richard, tiny tina looks really at home there

Hey you need to do something about your gloves...'Trumpet specials'  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

She is totally at home, and on the way back from a walk she curls up inside and goes to sleep.
Sadly she is getting a bit big for my home made tank case so I need to find something a bit bigger
We do get some funny looks from people in cars when they spot her  :mfr_lol:

Gloves came with the trike, last man bought them from the Triumph garage when he got it.

:mfr_lol: That third picture made me laugh. She's just peeping out and looks very mischievous, I think she's eyeing up those grip puppies.  :whistling:

As puppies go she is very good, only things she has chewed so far is a pencil and a nibble on my glasses arm.

As the trike is hibernating for the winter I pulled it apart today to do a service and a few other jobs including finding the oil leak on the front.
The state of the air filter shocked me, I was told it had been changed not long before I bought the trike, and I have only done 2500 miles....
Front wheel off so I can fit a new tyre, Michelin Pilot Activ Rear 130/70-17, not sure which way I am going to mount it yet
and looking at the pads I will replace them as well.
Disks measure 4.7 / 4.8mm so I will leave them, they work fine and do not appear distorted.
Oil leak looks to be the cam shaft sensor (common problem from what I have read), there is a fair bit of oil about, does this look to be just the cam shaft sensor oil blown about or maybe another leak?
Who ever last fitter the cover ahead of the tank fitted an over length screw, and bottomed it out very tight - I had to drill it as the hex was rounded out  :censored: , just need to get the rest of it now ........

Yep that air filter looks a bit tired!  :mfr_lol:

Right all back together and on the road, been to work on it twice this week in the sunshine :cheesy:

Jobs done:-
New oil + filter
New air filter
New headstock bearings - had to pull it all apart to make measurements for the custom yokes I am having made, and there was visible wear marks on the bottom bearings, so I fitted "All Balls" roller bearings in place of the original ball bearings.
New front wheel bearings and seals
New spacers that go between the front wheel bearings and the forks, these are aluminium with a chrome plating and the chrome was flaking off where the seals run, Kawa wanted £40+ for the 2 so I got a pair made from Stainless Steel for £10
Fitted "Screaming banshee" horn inside the front R/H fairing, with the compressor and control unit under the side panel. It works well, and makes a good noise

The Screaming Banshee is a good system with the control box, when you press the horn the first .25 or .5 of a second is the standard horn, then the Banshee cuts in, so you can still do a little peep peep when you see someone you know without scaring the shit out of them :-)

Thanks Richard.

Where did you mount the horn? I'm trying to think of a location unrestricted by the fairings

Hi

After lots and lots of trying it in different places I fitted it inside the right hand fairing, just below the indicator. Then cut a hole in the inside of the fairing which you can see in the 3rd picture so the sound is coming out and down from the front of the trike.
I will see if I have any other pictures

Hi

I have hunted through my phone for the other pictures but can not find them

Best I have is an enhanced pic showing the horn inside the right hand faring.
After waiving it around and debating how to make a bracket inside a limited space I cheated  :embarrassed:
Cleaned the inside of the fairing, applied several large dolops of black (only cos that was what I had open) Stixall and pushed it into place.
The position was dictated by the size of the space, trying to get the outlet as near the inside of the fairing as possible.
These modern adhesives are very good, and as the name suggests stick to virtually anything.
Next day when it had set I started cutting the hole using a small burr type cutter on the Dremil, work out roughly where it needed to be, cut a hole in the centre and then once I could see where the horn was enlarge to the shape.
