well yesterday i took my gtr back to hilltop who did the the original remap ,geoff took the remap back out of the ecu and reinstalled the factory mapping .
i left there and was straight back on the motorway ,and it was raining hard so i cant really tell if any difference .
but the initial feeling is good .

yes i know and understand that.to be honest i really need to ride another gtr14 totally standard just to see how they compare.
in all honesty it will pull tree stumps out ,its just that low revs slow speed i need to keep control of the clutch .

well i could through a spanner in the works here,i now have bryns old bike, and yes it was brilliant power but not good at low revs, like under 2500 revs,i have put the butterflies back in ,and to be honest its better but not perfect ,fueling not as good as my 09 hayabusa or my old 1250 bandit that i once had.
its just got a bit of a hesitant spot at low revs.
if i was in that area and geoff at hilltop offered to put it back to standard i think i would take him up on it,i have allready spoke to geoff about it .

yes there are plenty places that will repair your radiator.
one very close to me called advance radiators in newcastle, they repaired my sons on his sv650 ,i think it was about sixty pounds .

well i got my bike of bryn on this site, and to be honest i love it ,but one thing ,since having it it has had a very slight fueling glitch at very low revs.
it struggles if your in the wrong gear at to lower a speed ,and i have always found modern fuel inj day bikes to be very tolerent of being in the wrong gear at the wrong speed .
when pulling away you need to be asking a little few more revs than normal .
anyway this bike has been remapped and had the butterflys removed
so just out of curiosity i have put the butterflys back in this afternoon ,obviously i cant take the remap out .
anyway just took the bike for a ride and hey ho,its now perfect pulls clean and crisp from tick over ,no bogging down at very low revs.
so the job is now sorted .
maybe some things are best just left alone the way they leave the factory  .

bryn they were fine mate ,but front going a little off shape ,so i just got a pair ,made a hell of a difference .
when your riding it all the time i think when the tyres wear you just kind of compensate for the tyre wear not knowing that your correcting all the time.
hows the old gs ,are getting on with her ok.
