Sorry old bean.....
It was just so posed to be us three, but alas it is just me now.

Mileage is about 3700. But that isn't including playing on nice roads a few times..

Sadly due to injury, my bezas, Ian and his good lady wife Vick have had to pull out of our European adventure.

However, in true Top Gear style, i am still going. I have changed a few dates, timings and locations. But my rough itinerary is as follows.......

Dover Calais ferry. Sat 23 Aug
Ride down the west coast of France, visiting Pegasus bridge.
Play in the Pyrenees and on to Andorra, Then pop into the George de Verdon on the way to Monaco.
Across to Italy and down to Rome. Take a selfie at the Coliseum, Then across to the East coast and up to play in the Alps.
North into the Black Forrest and up through Germany for große Wurst und Pommer.
Turn left an Belgium and back to Calais to the ferry....sat 6 Sept

Sadly it's just me and my trusty steed.
But if you see me, please say hello.

Would your brother not be interested in spending one or two days with you at the Belfry? That way you still get to see your brother and we still get to see you and have a formal introduction to your axe.

Sadly he isn't  into bikes at all....  :undecided:

Holy c###!!!

Not good, not good at all.

I will agree though I do check both ways at all junctions where they are traffic lights or just a road joining my road.

I see too many idiots on the road through my day to trust any of them to stick to any of the road laws, never mind look out for me too...

Just an idea...

Contact the local Fire and Ambulance Stations and ask them to review the situation as far as access in an emergency is concerned....

They will be all over that if there is an issue.

Hey Zeb,

As you know it can get very expensive buying a new seat...

But......

You could try my trick.

The stock seat with an aftermarket cover. I recovered my own seat, but tried different padding and sculptured shape until i found one that is personal to me.

Result is, some old sofa foam shaped to my arse, covered with a hand towel cut to shape for sturdiness then with aftermarket cover to make it look nice...

Hope that helps.

Another weekend away out on my bike.

Pitched my tent in a little camp site near Bridlington, explored the smaller roads from Whitby to Hull.

That is just beautiful countryside..................................takes your breath away yet makes you feel alive all in one go

Indeed it does my friend....

I am sat in my truck, parked just out side the M25, looking at the pics of all that countryside. Wish i was still there.
