1400GTR Discussion / Re: TPS batteries
January 02, 2015, 12:12:02 AM
LDL Technology are the company that manufacturer the TPS on the GTR1400. On their website http://www.tire-watch.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=40&Itemid=146 they name various companies that distribute their product. My Net Moto sell the TPS by parts on their site.

The part that is required is the 90 degree valve about half way down the page.

But you can check with them or go to Murph.

Accessories, Farkels and Mods / Re: Frame colour

Think you'll find the frame colour hasn't changed on any year.

http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/colours.php

If you go to rs bike paint and put in GTR 1400, 2009 you'll find Matt Black Frame Paint.

Combine that with Matt Lacquer and its a really good match.

Call them and I'm sure they will confirm.

I killed a regulator/rectifier which took out the main fuse. But the ECU lived.

The reg/rec was full of mud which didn't allow it to cool so it was probably my fault  :hammer:

I'd say you'd get another 69,000 miles from a second hand unit.....

Murph's are the same item.

Actually cheaper than buying them from Europe with free shipping if you are that side of the pond. But $40 minimum shipping back to Europe is his best rate. Offered to ship as many as required though!

Excellent...... Thanks for that.

But are they 8.mm or 11.5mm without having to take off the tyres!

Accessories, Farkels and Mods / 90 degree Valve Stems
November 16, 2013, 08:33:05 PM
Anyone know of a european stockist for the 90 degree valve stems?

http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=130_136&products_id=417

Unfortunately postage is $40 which makes these very expensive!

Are those clips the ones with the Phillips head in them?

They are a real pig to get out. Basically you need to twist the centre, hold the outside and get something in between whilst helping them out. The centre needs to come out to release them.

Needs three hands and patience.

The worst design clips I've ever found.
