I got a car one cut it in half and fitted some elastic so it went under the seat and held it in place , it felt OK to sit on and was cooler on a hot day as you can feel the air flow under your butt, but I did not feel is was any more comfertable on a long run than the standard seat , , :biker3:

I did the same, ran the perimeter with grass trimmer (weed eater) line to hold the shape and place a cloth under it to ease the wear on the seat.

I've been in Italy for a few years, now headed back home to the US.

Cleaned up the C14 to be shipped off on Tuesday, headed back to North Carolina next week. With the groups permission, I'll stick around and check in from time to time, this is a great forum and I've enjoyed my limited time here. Safe travels to all.

Oil, filter and final drive. 30 minute job at most and easily done. I change brake and clutch fluid annually, no matter what it looks like, can be a pain to bleed at times but worth it. Someone else may have more info, but that's all I'd do.

It's difficult to explain the atmosphere there, a constant assault on the senses and the people are some of the most committed (to Rossi) I have ever seen. It's a party...a loud, out of control party where you get to watch a great race at the end.

Then stormed the track!

I am headed up in the morning to camp overnight, no reason to fight my way in more than once.

Anybody else going?

I've got tickets for the Ducati Grandstand. Sunday for sure and maybe Saturday.

General Discussion / Mille Miglia- Supercar Rally
May 17, 2015, 06:01:14 PM
Out Saturday looking for a can of Plasti-Dip. Only place within 100 miles is in Cascina, Italy at a cart racing supplier, so I headed that way and was surprised to be directed around the city center, lots of local police in the area in some not so normal cop cars. Hmm, weird. Seems as though the Mille Miglia was running into town the same time I was.

Only took a few pictures but walked around gawking for an hour or so.

4 - crash protection - can only see R&G bits, if the beast goes over, what takes the damage? Is it swing arm, fairing and forks? Are there crash bars for the >2010 GTR?

I have the MC Enterprises cages as stated above. They work and for me, have paid for themselves already.

Does your 08 model not have air temperature choice on your dash display ?
2010 models onwards have it.

I was wondering the same thing. Learn something everyday.
