General Discussion / battery charge
November 13, 2012, 05:10:24 PM
hi guys/gals
just a quick question? :ohplease:
im thinking of taking my battery off the GTR for the winter and plugging in an optimate to condition it, i know what some of you are thinking  why not leave it on the bike.well i have a garage where the bike is locked up anchored down and guarded (by an x wife)  :mfr_lol: but its not attached to my house and i have no power in it and cant run a cable to it.
so my question is this; will having the battery off the bike for a period affect the transponder key when i come to re connect it or any of the other leccy items.
this may have come up before but i cant find it on the site
thanks for the help

keep it rubber side down  :tank:

hello to one and all im back after having a spell away from the GTR in now back in the saddle with a pride and joy a black 09 plate.
anyway the reason for the message last time i was on here i found a place/shop/site whewre they sold pre cut reflective panels for the GTR panniers i think they were from the states?? in day light they looked just like normal panniers until they were hit by headlights during the night. i cant find them anywhere on this site or a link to them does anyone remember them and even better would like to share the info with me or a better upgrade

regards all

General Discussion / air in tyres
June 20, 2011, 08:58:04 PM
hi fellas
i have been watching various sites and newspaper ads about air in tyres and people swapping for nitrogen filled tyres has any member done this yet? they say it holds better increases Tyre wear and doesn't loose pressure as much some scientific crap about the molecules being bigger so harder to escape don't really know all im interested in is if it works and doing my bit for the all important carbon footprint.i believe they have it in BSB and such like and i think its only about a Pound (£1) per tyre
would like any advice opinions on this one unless it has been covered before and i have missed it.

secondly:
i have just started to notice an unusual amount of vibration or more than i can remember especially through the tank feel it on the in side of my thighs although the feeling is nice not sure if its me or something else any help or idea will be greatly recieved
