Hi troops, has any one lowered their bike using a kit? If so what have you used?was it worth it?how much lower did it achieve?
I,ve already had the seat lowered and have a pillion and camping gear on the bike a lot of the time .Would lowering it be to much?

All the gear,no idea!!

:agree: i,ve never understood why you would want cruise control on a motorbike, you need to be in control of all of the bike at all times.

1400GTR Discussion / compressors
December 27, 2012, 12:13:20 PM
Hi troops hope you all have been good boys and girls and Santa was good to you ? just been reading some threads on punctures and tyre pressures,I see that we can,t use forecourt air compressors(without 90 degree adapters) due to the valves being inaccessable!!!.I see some of you carry 12v air compressors, can you recommend one that won,t blow the bikes fuse(07 plate) when using the socket on the dash  and a puncture repair system?I used to use ultra seal but see thats a no no due to the tps.Trying to put together all the "bits" the bike needs so we can enjoy riding.
List:- Comms, have starcom from last steed.
         Top box,givi e55 maxia tech,end of Jan.
Re-covered and lowered seat with gel pads.
         Posibble pillion lowered foot pegs
Possibility of enough cash left over to put a gallon of petrol in for a ride out in June!
