Problem description: brake siesure rear calliper white hot ..could have locked up at high speed
Dealer response: said they new of issue

Other notes: just had recall letter re this problem

Driving back from holland to Calais .. Noticed rear wheel locking up ...looked at rear brake calliper and it was white hot!!!!  Would not drive away from toll area ...
My ride was v progressive ! And if it had locked up mid flight ... Amen.
Kawazaki said it was a known issue ...that was two years ago... Now have the 2011 version gtr 1400
And they are doing a recall.....  Letter recieved 10/08/12'Has anyone been killed by this fault????
