Hi all, finally got a decent ride out today to Berwick upon Tweed from Edinburgh via North Berwick and returned through Coldstream & Lauder.

The weather was great, roads clear but I was bloody awful not riding the correct lines and braking into corners, def need more time in the saddle to get my confidence back again

Well we'll, my 10 plate has corrosion on the same frame just by the welded join, ask Mr K about it, not covered by warranty I was told.  I'll going to rub it down, remove the rust then paint it with Hammerite black

Hi I have been using Kirkcaldy Kawasaki for the last 7 months since I bought my GTR1400 last July, they are very good & helpful and I have been given a loan bike 2 whilst mine has been in for repairs

1400GTR Discussion / Headlight adjustment

Hi has anyone had the same problem as I seem to have which is I can't adjust one of my headlight beams up or down, the near side one works ok but the offside will not move and I don't want to force the adjuster with too much pressure

Hi yes I ment full service history.

I took off the adjuster from the bike and let it hang down then sprayed WD40 under the handle, did this over 2 days and took a pair of mole grips to the handle, after a little gentle pressure it started to move, I can now move it by hand all the way in and out, I've not ridden the bike since doing this so don't know if its adjusting the shock setting or not !

Hi I had the same problem, tried changing the batteries etc, warning still coming on display, I squeezed the tabs inside the case out and problem has not come back since
