Good article in this months RIDE magazine about buying a used GTR. Worth a read for anyone looking to buy one, but only info that can be gleaned from sites like this, nothing new.

As a trucker myself, I'm genuinely impressed with this stunt. I struggle to reverse in a straight line at walking speed lol. Whilst Van Damme was doing his thing, the point of the advert wasn't lost on me.

I didn't realise the armistice agreement was signed at 0500hrs yet fighting continued until 1100hrs, killing a further 11000 men. As with all wars, such a needless loss of life.

I recently went from iPhone 4 to Galaxy S4. The galaxy is a much better phone, although not as intuitive as the iPhone. Better navigation, better camera etc.

Here's an idea to consider that many would never think of.
Buy a cheap iPhone, conceal it good and proper on the bike and have it permanently wired to the bike. Ensure that the function, Find My Iphone is activated and bobs your uncle you have just acquired what will probably be the cheapest tracker device known to mankind.

So simple it's frightening.  :mfr_lol:

I've been saying this for a while now. I've urged my employers to put cheap GPS phones in HGV trailers as a tracking device but nobody has taken the idea on board. I'm sure it can't be difficult to wire up a charger to keep the phones active. Same for cars/bikes etc.

I take it you've never spent any quality time in Bradford?

Is there such a thing?   :mfr_lol:

I have the newer one which seized. As advised on here, I unbolted it from frame, inverted it, sprayed WD40 liberally, wrapped it in plastic bag overnight. Good as new next morning. I give it a twists every week or so and all is good. Hope this helps.

Always a good few bikes there at the weekend. Passed it yesterday on way to Doms bikestop, near Leominster (highly recommended burgers at Doms). And Debs is right about the breakfasts. Mmmmm

I considered the GT3's but there wasn't enough reviews about them. All the folks on here and elsewhere recommended the Michelins so they're what I chose. Maybe GT3's next time.

Well I scrubbed in my new PR3's today. 130 miles town and country roads. So much better. Didn't realise how bad BT021's were. Only time will tell for longevity but highly recommend for now.

5500 miles for me too. Both squared off. PR3's fitted today. Feel big difference already and haven't scrubbed them in yet (I will be doing that tomorrow). BT021's are  :censored: in my opinion.
