Have a look at www.hid50.com   I bought sets for the dipped beam on both my Blackbirds, ZZR1400's and 1200 Multistrada.

When I contacted the site recently and was informed I needed a pair of H4 light at £180 (will work as dipped/main beam).

They are not the cheepest on the market (You get what you pay for ) but these are definately quality items...put together specifically for bikes, so you don't have to hide yards of loom and the like  and not difficult to install...just be patient  :hammer:

I once bought some H4's for one of my cars off fleabay...they were cheep  :shit: lasted about six months.

HID's are definately work better than any aftermarket bulbs  I swear they can dry the road

Greetings

Picked up my new GTR...yes green  from Seastar Superbikes on Thursday, scrubbed the tyres in on Friday...in the torrential rain  and put 300 miles on it yesterday

Had a couple of ZZR1400 then a Multisrada 1200 before coming back to the green machines.

My little nest of vipers is my full time pillion, but numerous foot operations kept her off the bike for two years. Now I will say at this point, that she is the best...letting me me indulge my addiction as a petrol head when ever the urge for something else gets to me  :tank: It was during that time I decided to change my ZZR for something else...and looked at the GTR then. But for the first time in 34 years she said no ...telling me she didn't like it...NO WAY. I was gutted  so ended up with the Multistrada.

Two years later she is back in the saddle, and informed me that she didn't like the vibey Multi and lack of wind protection...so off I go looking for something different  no not another wife...bike  :sweatdrop:. As we left Seastar Superbikes a few weeks ago my wife spotted a bike she fell in love with, the strangest thing is that it was the GTR  the very same machine she said NO WAY to nearly two years earlier  :help:...work that one out  :surrender: :surrender:

Anyway I am back with my KWAK with my querky missus as my pillion
