1400GTR Discussion / Mmmmmm....
September 14, 2013, 07:20:29 AM
Hi, I recently went for a run with a couple of hundred mile run with swmbo on the back, it was a really hot day...Yes that day......🌞🌞🌞 so we took a change of cloths shorts etc so we could go on a walk about,   But......when we got to our destination some D...khead had forgot to realize that we would have to put ALL our bike gear in the boxes etc, now we just about did it (had to leave my boots under the bike) but it suddenly downed on me "there's no helmet hooks on the bike", if there was i could have saved a lot of space taken up in the boxes by the helmets....

I'm I right......? Is there NO helmet hooks on board..? I know now.........but I'll have to get a couple of cable locks for next time...😩😩😩😩😩😩

It looks the dogs that Bryn, :biker3:

Let me know how it is on the road, I want one but need to be sure it work proper before I splash out....

I've only had my bike a couple of months and there is a bigger screen on it, but I not know what it is and it doesn't work too well, but better than the standard I had on my last GTR.

Hi John welcome, I just fitted a mount for my garmin 765 last night, got it from ram-mount, very good quality unit and easy to fit, if you get one make sure you tap down the actual bracket into the stem mount hole...it makes it very secure and stops it wobbling about on the rubber.

Doesn't tell you that in the instructions...... :biker3:

General Discussion / Re: gtr/px
June 05, 2013, 03:09:16 PM
Well here's a comment from a 53 yr old, who has, over the last 2 years changed from a gtr (ran outbof money and had to sell) to a 2008 Busa (8 monyths later )and to be fair was made up with it for a year or so, then the wife decided she wants to come biking again but doesn't like the Busa...so I decided to revisit the gtr world and I have to say since I got it 2 weeks ago I can't believe what I was missing, it's comfy as hell, easier to ride IMO, and lets be fair, how often do we REALLY go over 160mph, and you can take your butties with you......

No for me it will always be a gtr from now on......but each to his own.

Long live 1400gtr....
