Been a good day to scrub in my new Angel GT's. Also good to finish a ride with no salt or mud on the bike. Only problem with todays ride was that there were so many bikes out that I missed my breakfast at the café at Quatford due to a forty minuet wait for food, still the waistline needs reducing a bit.

Don't use a gasket with my Remus & there are no leaks.

Welcome Dave, good choice of colour & good to see someone else from the Midlands. Perhaps see you at Quarford one Sunday. Enjoy your GTR

Will be there again this year, riding with the M5 Strensham services group. After a lousy wet week it looks as though we will be blessed with good weather yet again. Everyone ride safe.

Hi Ant

will be at RTTW again this tear come rain or shine though the chance of meeting up amongst the thousands there will be difficult

That's a pity but in that case it looks as though I will be eating lunch on my own.

I find myself in the fortunate position of no grandchild minding duty on 2nd Sept  so intend to have a ride down to the Lower Lode Inn. Who is able to attend & what time do you think you will be arriving.

Looking forward to anyone who will be there.

Will be there again this year, only missed one so far. Very moving experience, not just there but also the many well wishers lining the route.

No eco mode on my 08 & over 15 months & 7K miles have averaged 49mpg of brisk riding. On the rare occasions that I use motorways get around 53mpg at a steady 80.

I've used a kidney belt for about five years now, only a cheepo one from Aldi. Think I paid about £3:50 for it & from what I remember they came in three sizes & also a thermal liner which I've never used. I agree with mecki as they do provide some support to the lower back, keep your kidneys warm which helps keep the rest of you warm. Try & find a cheap one to try before spending to much.

Hi Patrick, pity we didn't know we were stood next to each other when you took the photo, mine was the Furygan arm. Didn't think it was a bad turnout considering many different events on the same day.

Hi Patrick, like you I don't much fancy the rideout so may give that bit a miss. Will decide on the day, if I do go to Cosford will prob make my own way.
