I got some great shots of sports bikes, but the K1600 came out well so I used that. I will do some more later
Some would say that is because it was going the slowest.....

But not me .....

Thanks for the info Steve = yes you get stunning shots over water but i can imagine the fear due to the investment. I'm sure it'll give you many years of enjoyment.

Great video Steve. I've been thinking of getting one of those drones for some time and the MA2 looks like a great option. Did you buy the drone with the fly more package?  I assume that it packs up into a reasonably small bag as you took it with you on the bike. I would imagine it would be great to take abroad on holiday.... as long as you do your homework as to where you can fly of course.

If the trip mileage etc was reset, then the sidestand switch is not a likely culprit.  I'd check both sides of the battery connections and the earth to the frame
Yep i agree.
I had a vfr that started behaving like a bucking bronco when i was out on a ride, and the gauges were going crazy too. Got it home, charged the battery as it was flat. Next day i checked the battery and output from the rectifier, couldn't find anything wrong. Left it to get hot and then the voltage dropped off the cliff. The rectifer was faulty but only when everything was hot. The bike would then run off the battery until it flattened it completely. That might also be worth checking.

Yep some people are just oxygen stealers. They don't deserve to walk the earth as they are the types that have never contributed to society, they just suck the life and joy out of everything and think the world owes them something. They should be used as lab rats.

On the other hand, you have a pensioner that has contributed so much, going through the horrors of war and has now found a new focus in life, raising so much money.

Do you have the original discs or replacements? My replacement discs have bobins that have flats on them and are not supposed to turn.

^ Yeah that.

I have a KDS, but I'm halfway round the planet.
Where did you get the KDS Daisy and what sort of money did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking. Will it run on windows 10?

Hi Glen i think it is under the seat but i don't think its an obd2 plug like the cars use. Can you spray some brake cleaner or easy start where Daisy suggested and crank the bike over? Worth a try mate.

If it were my bike I'd be tempted to spray a little brake cleaner in the air intake as you crank the engine. If it tries to fire up I'd then look at fuel issues. You need to try and work out if you can hear the fuel pump when you turn on the ignition. When you turn the ignition on, can you remember if the noises from the bike sound different to when the bike was working?  I had a problem many years ago where the wiring to the pump and display went faulty, preventing the bike from starting.
I'm only guessing here, but if the bike doesn't try to start on brake cleaner, then it could well be a sensor as mentioned in the previous post, or an electrical problem of some description, where diagnostic software will be required.

Hi Glenn, its definitely turning over then and the battery is fine.
Could you hear a noise from the fuel pump when you first turn on the ignition?

Hi Knightraider, carry out the checks Daisy mentioned first, that's a good starting point mate.

Try osram nightbreakers or similar. They seem fine to me for a standard fitting bulb.
